4 Months!

Well, it's hard to believe, but I'm 4 months old already. My doctor's appointment went well today, aside from the 4 shots I got. Daddy said I was a trooper though and I stopped crying as soon as it was done. I now weigh 14 pounds, 3 ounces and am 25 inches long (wahoo... 79th percentile!). My little head is only 16 inches in circumference, but Mommy and Daddy think it's cute... so I'm okay with that!

The most exciting thing about today is that I will get to start my rice cereal tomorrow. That should be an interesting experience for us all! The doctor said I don't have pink eye, so that's a relief. It's been an exhausting day... time for my nightly snooze with Daddy on the couch. TTFN!

Welcome

Welcome to my blog. This is Avery Griffith, coming to you live from Lancaster, PA. This weekend was busy. Mom and Dad took Cooper and I back to Levittown to visit the family for the day on Saturday. It was a long day, but I got to see Nana and Poppop, Aunt Dana and Uncle Andrew, Nona and Poppop Bello, Nan, Mommom Brown, and Mommom Hummel. It was very exciting to see my great grandmothers and my two great-great grandmothers.

I've been fighting this nasty cold. Mom and Dad won't stop picking at my nose. I have pink eye too... whatever that is. All I know is that they keep wiping my eyes now too!

Sunday was a fun day. I spent a lot of time cuddling on the couch with Daddy while Mommy did her work around the house and her school work. Daddy and I danced a lot and I played on my jungle mat. I'm getting so strong and coordinated that I can hold two toys (one in each hand) and kick the other toys hanging from the mat... all at the same time!

Well, another week starts tomorrow. Should be an exciting one... I turn 4 months old on Tuesday. Won't be such a great day though... Daddy is taking me to the doctor where they are going to give me 4 shots! I hate needles! But, the doctor should give me the A-OK to start with rice cereal. I'm excited to start eating something other than Similac!! Talk to you all later!

Love and Hugs,
Avery
